After having spent many years in the fashion world as a runway and print model, Kelda found her true passion in strength, interval and weight training. After years of running on the treadmill with little-to-no results, Kelda discovered Powerlifting and fell in love with the sport. It completely reshaped her vision of training, and otherwise boring visits to the gym became an event that she couldn’t imagine missing. First hand, she experienced the results of what a balanced diet, cardio and proper weight training regime can do.
Now a mother of 2 young girls Kelda is more inspired than ever to get the message out there that weight training and heavy lifting will not make you look masculine. Not only will it make you feel empowered, it will also give you a strong, athletic body.
Kelda trains one-on-one with clients to achieve targeted results. She is a certified personal trainer through Canadian Fitness Professionals and has completed her Powerlifting Certification through Darby Training Systems. In the coming months, Kelda is poised to complete her Olympic Lifting, and Precision Nutrition courses.
